Geography at Grove

Autumn 2026

Geography at Grove inspires children to find out more about the world, from their local area to places across the globe. Pupils learn about maps, the United Kingdom, world locations, weather, climate zones, cities, rivers, mountains, natural disasters, seaside environments and fieldwork. Children take part in local studies and visits, helping them observe, record and explain what they notice in real places. Through geography, pupils develop an understanding of people, places and environments, as well as the importance of caring for the world around them.
