Science at Grove

Autumn 2026

Science at Grove nurtures children’s natural curiosity about the world around them. Pupils explore exciting topics including plants, animals, materials, forces, light, electricity, sound, habitats, the human body, Earth and space, evolution and changes of state. Through practical investigations, observations and discussions, children learn to ask questions, make predictions, test ideas and explain what they discover. Our science curriculum helps pupils build knowledge year by year while developing the skills needed to think and work like scientists.
